What does your dc do in DT at school?

I’m researching as a great part time job has come up as an DT assistant.
My dc are in primary so although I’ve gotten some info on Google I’m not sure what output comes from DT lessons.

I’ve no experience although I have worked with children before and am a very practical and hand in person so I’m going to apply.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I think it'll mostly be laying out equipment for practical lessons eg ingredients and utensils for food tech, paper and paints for art etc
