What do you do for a living?

I work in a supermarket café, it drives me mad! When I get home I have to spend several hours alone (which managed to alienate my husband to the point we're now separated. ) Some of my colleagues I enjoy chatting with, others drive me bananas. I have friends, but find it easier to meet them on a one to one basis in a café, rather than big group meetings. (One of my friends I actually met when I was at work, she came in and we started chatting.)

Project manager here. I am quite good at my job but I do struggle with networking, office politics and the like.

I'm an academic. I actually really enjoy teaching, though I am often exhausted afterward. The reading/writing/researching side of academia is much beloved by introverts (including me).
