Oh effing ell, neighbours

One knocked at my door earlier, his mum has just died and he seemed a little drunk and wanted to go out.

Then he raced around to our other neighbour who he knows I've had problems with and complained to him and I couldn't break it up, I was completely superfluous, so I went back to my flat.

I'm slightly on edge now as I'm in not sure if I will get a knock in a sec. We live in a quiet costal town!

Praps I should just barricade my door

Lights off, lock up, leave them to it

LanguidLobster · 06/09/2018 20:33

I think things have quietened down, neighbour whose mum has just died is still with other neighbour who can be noisy at times (for some godforsaken reason bereaved neighbour decided to remonstrate with him, right now, about the noise). I tugged his sleeve but he didn't take the hint.

I guess grief can do funny things, I'll leave them to it! Door bolted

Can't choose your neighbours, unfortunately!

VelociraptorRex · 06/09/2018 20:46

Lock the door and ignore any knocking, grief is a terrible thing but he'll sober up. Are you worried OP or is it all non-threatening? Or are you worried about him?

LanguidLobster · 06/09/2018 20:56

No it's not threatening, he called afterwards so I've been dragged out but someone came along with newly caught mackerel so he's gone back to refridgerate them.

I'll give him a one night pass especially as I'm getting fresh fish :)

Mackerel? That's a new one Smile

LanguidLobster · 06/09/2018 21:36

High tide tonight apparently (so lots of mackerel), still out but things are peaceful.

Need to drag him home after we've finished our drinks

Nice that he can call on you when he needs some support, you sound like a very good neighbour to have Smile

Omg it's 4am!!

Just packed neighbour off to bed, really had no idea this was the time. Too much chattering and drink.

I thought it was midnight Blush
