She will be three in December and over the last few weeks has got quite resistant to leaving the house! We’ve been on holiday and even then she didn’t want to leave the room.
When out she just keeps asking to go home.
She plays a lot with her toys and is always involved in some game so when we have to go out she cries and hides behind the sofa. I’ve tried pre warning her and giving her a timer to say in 5 minutes we are going out but in some ways that makes it worse as she just spends the whole time saying she isn’t going and as the timer runs down she gets more upset!
Is this just a normal phase? Ds always wanted to go out and at 9 still does. Even places dd likes such as the zoo or soft play etc give the same response. I’ve asked her why and she says she is too busy to go 
and doesn’t want to leave her toys. She takes a fair few with her when we go out.
