Head lice and husband

I'm furious.

Both kids had lice in their hair, so have spent all bloody evening treating/washing/combing their hair and mine.

Gave husband the bottle of stuff to treat his with. He said he'd done it but just found it in the cupboard with exactly the same amount in it as there was when I gave it to him.

He's still claiming he did it but he's ' not itchy anyway'

What a prick.
An arrogant idiotic prick

Does he actually have head lice?

Rebecca36 · 05/09/2018 22:07

Yes. It wouldn't hurt him to use it. Men are really funny about things like that (I know that's a sexist remark but don't care).

Perhaps he'll do it in the morning when he has a shower. Sneak in and supervise!

Fucksgiven · 05/09/2018 22:08

He's probably not got them, they don't generally go for adult males

You don’t treat if you don’t have. What were you treating with? This is how nots become resistant because people slap on the treatment needlessly.

dementedpixie · 05/09/2018 22:10

You shouldn't treat unless live lice are found. Have you checked his hair for lice?

dementedpixie · 05/09/2018 22:12

Did you have lice? Chances are he doesn't have them unless he spends time with his head touching theirs (Or yours if you found any in your hair)

Yep. He had at least two adults. He made a brush-off comment about how they probably 'just hopped on' from our DC.

He seriously is that arrogant.

Years ago, we had a vicious cycle of them that we couldn't break and it was only when his mum effectively forced him to be dosed that we broke the cycle.

Both DC's had live lice too so we treated everyone (or so I thought)
