New phone. Stay with Samsung or go to Google?

I am about to buy a new phone. I have narrowed it down to 3

Samsung note 9 (I really like the look of this one and have had a good look at it in shops)

Samsung note 8 (cheaper than the 9 now it is out and I have in the past when looked at it really liked it..)

Or the Google Pixel.... I love the idea of this one and like the look of it. However I have not been able to actually get one in my hand to see what it is like..

I prefer larger phones and I am NOT willing to consider a iphone.
I have used Samsung phones for yeas and really like how they work have never had a issue with them breaking on me etc.

Anyone got any of these and get on with them? Do not get on ?

my partner has a samsung and really likes it. he has the s8. have you also looked at huawei phones? they have a really good range and all friends that have got one really like them. worth a look x

I have looked at the Huawei but not keen on the feel of them in my hand.

I think my issues is that I feel I would like the google but I do not know for sure and I have been so happy with the Samsung phones.

DH has a pixel 2, I love it and wish I had it instead of my Samsung.

why don't you do something like this? just found it online, it is a device trial service. if you don't like it, you send it back and can try a new one. they have google pixel on there as well as samsungs.

I have a pixel and would highly recommend it
