Have just realised I have quite a lot of nectar points.

A friend mentioned a double up deal in November? How does this work? How can I make the most of the points?

We very rarely redeem ours. A couple of years ago they had mounted up to approx £600. It was just before Christmas and the tv was about to pack up so we bought a new one (more than £600 not from Sainsbury ) but then for January/ Feb just used the card to do all our shopping so not to get a massive credit card bill. We have got the nectar card back up to £400.

I usually spend mine on Christmas food, crackers, wrapping paper and other Christmassy stuff.

prices go up at christmas because they can , people go nuts. spend them now.

Yes they do a double up on most departments but you can only buy £20 of vouchers for each department. This then gives you £40 to spend.
We normally do this for Christmas bits.
They also have 25% of 6 or more bottles at various points. We often stock up :)

You can spend them in argos too or ebay.
