Provisional license???

I applied for my first provisional licence recently. I applied online but as I don't have a passport they sent a form to fill in and they wanted a photo.
All good....got the forms filled in and sent back with paperwork and photo.
The DVLA sent an email saying if it weren't sent back by 28th august they would cancel. I sent everything back on 20th august.
It's been over 2 weeks and online tracking is saying they're awaiting the form...but when I called they explained it would say that until licence was issued.

Has anyone else had to wait over 2 weeks for the licence? Could it be extra checks as I have had my name changed as a child and again once married?

I'm probably worried over nothing but I sent all original documents as requested and hope they weren't lost in the post as I have no idea how to get more copies if they are lost.

2 weeks is nothing id say. I rescentky changed my address on mine. So very straight forward. Said on form if not heard anything after 3 weeks call up.

So imagine with new 1 take equally if not big longer.

Just to add it took about 2.5 wks to arrive in end.

Sure I read it said it should be within 2 weeks. I just hate how online tracking says it's still awaiting return form....if they updated that to form received I would relax but it doesn't change until they issue the licence.
