Don’t know what to do, mum 95 lives on her own very independent needs cataract operation has been told to wait two years ? Any advice please

Do you know why she's been told to wait two years? If it's down to waiting lists then it would be worth you looking at hospitals in other areas. I took my mum to an eye hospital ninety minutes away because she'd be seen much quicker than anywhere locally.

Thanks will look into this today. She was at hospital for an appointment with a eye surgeon yesterday and I found out late last night about two year wait

Can she go on a cancellation list?
