Hi all has anyone got experience with cms
It has been rubbish for me
Thinking of going solicitor route

My CSA claim changed to CMS & basically let exp off the hook for what he owed. I do know some with great experiences but mine is that basically it isn't worth it. My weekly sum was pittance tho; i guess if you were owed a fair whack perservering would be wise.

They are useless changing the ward every time
My ex keeps changing his circumstances which prolongs it
They never communicate with me and when I call I get told they will get back to me nd nothing else
I am thinking of getting a solicitor and getting them to try and sort it direct with him is this something they could help W me with

Yeah a friend's ex would change jobs every 8 weeks or so...was nightmare.
I don't know about a solicitor tbh but i have heard folk speaking with their MPs to chase things up with CMS. Mixed results there too i'm afraid

Both the CSA and now the CMS are shit. Unfortunately, you can't take legal action yourself and are solely in the hands of the CMS. I would rather pay solicitor fees and do it myself, and it frustrates me that this option is not available to resident parents.
