Friends, how old were they supposed to be?

The episodes circa 1994 how old were they supposed to be 25? 30? I can’t work it out

I recently started rewatching and when Ross's son was born, Monica says she's 24 or 26 and was worrying about if anyone would ever want a baby with her. I believe that was season 1.

Mid twenties when it started

Monica says she is 26 in season 1 in 1994. But turns 30 in season 8 in 2001 so a lack of continuation somewhat.

I googled this the other day, all mid-20s at the beginning of the first season and all mid-30s by the final season.

Sorry she turns 30 in season 7 in 2000.
