Renewal quote is 518 for the year, 25% up on last year. (No claims made.) Not a subsidence area, 1970s house. This is a lot, right?

I pay around £360 for the year. 12 year old house on new estate. I think you’ll definitely be able to get a better quote if you shop around.

Seems loads. We pay £300 something for the year for joint building and contents insurance. 1950s 3 bed semi.

£17 A month buildings and contents. It rose £1 A month last time but couldn't be arsed to switch.

It's always best to not automatically renew.

£150 for buildings and contents with £70 cashback with asda via topcashback.

AspieHere · 04/09/2018 12:13

£98 a year. Buildings and contents with accidental damage on both. 3 bed extended house that is non standard construction.

supercalifragilistic2 · 04/09/2018 12:14

£120 for the full year, including contents. New build. Think it was the same last year. We're north east.

lastqueenofscotland · 04/09/2018 12:29

£56 for the year!! Very new house though and no contents included in that

TOADfan · 04/09/2018 12:38

£120 a year including contents. 3 bed 1980s house in a council estate.

LBOCS2 · 04/09/2018 12:40

£200ish including contents inside and outside the home. I shop around every renewal and get cashback via Quidco.

RelentlessSylvia · 04/09/2018 12:45

My God I'm being robbed! Thanks all will shop around.

I just renewed fils 3 bed 70s semi and he too is roughly £500 a year but he is a smoker and had a very costly house fire a couple years ago so it does seem too much for you. Ours is about 170 a year inc contents.

Buildings insurance only [no contents] on a 3 bed semi detached bungalow...usually about £100-110. South West England.
