I bought a Gro clock from Tesco around 6 months ago. This week it stopped working. I don't have the receipt (bought it in my general shop)

Gro company have asked for proof of purchase. Is there any way of finding this in my Tesco Clubcard account? I can't log in atm as it's registered to an old email but will try and resolve that if it's going to help.

Just take it back to Tesco, they're likely to replace or give you a credit note if no receipt.

No they can't trace it from your clubcard. I had the same with some headphones. Tesco refused to do anything without the receipt.

Don't know about the Tesco question but a bank statement showing the purchase has been accepted when we returned something.

I had an issue with a steam mop a few years ago and spoke to Tesco on online chat. Stopped working, no receipt. They said all I need to do is show them a bank statement showing the Tesco purchase. Turns out it started working in the end but you should be able to get a replacement if you can show them the bank statement.

Surely a bank statement only shows a Tesco purchase though, and not what I actually bought? I couldn't pinpoint which Tesco purchase I bought it in.
