Ex DP is staying over tonight to help as the baby is really unwell and I haven’t slept in days
We get on well, better than when we’re together in fact, and he’s here a lot with the kids so it’s not weird at all
But!
He is getting right on my tits
I hadn’t realised how much I prefer being alone, having my own space, doing things my way
How much calmer and quieter the house is without him
He has been invaluable tonight in holding the Velcro baby while I’ve sorted all the other kids for first day back at school tomorrow so I’m just being a moany bitch but I can not wait for him to leave in the morning
I’ve constantly questioned things since we broke up especially because we’ve got on so well since but tonight has definitely proved that we are better off apart
So that’s one good thing I suppose 🤦🏻♀️
