If you could live anywhere in the U.K....

Where would you go and why?
Considering moving away from commuter belt AS I HATE IT and getting a studio in London for DH and a cheaper home further away. DH will be with us Fri-Sun. Currently daydreaming about amazing places to live. On the long list for me....
North Norfolk coastline
Lake District
Frome
Somewhere in Devon

I live in Caithness and love it but I could be tempted by a lovely home that overlooks loch rannoch, beautiful place or somewhere in the lakendistrict

I live in Devon already, but not in a particularly desirable area! I'd love to live somewhere like Topsham or Lympstone just have to win the lottery first as they are near the water, the "city life" in Exeter, as well as having good links to the M5 and main train line to London.
So many beautiful places to live in the UK though, we really are spoilt for choice!

I quite fancy Skye. Maybe an island further north :)

I am also in Devon close to Exeter but if I could I would move to the lizard in Cornwall. Love it there.

I have dreams of living in Orkney. I have based this on daytime tv. In reality I'm quite happy where I am.
