Had a household admin type job to do today and it’s literally taken me all day. Fair enough I’ve had to dig out various bits of paperwork (harder than usual as we’re decorating and things have been boxed up/moved) and make numerous calls, one of which was HMRC, but how have I achieved absolutely nothing else all day? Admittedly DD(9) has been fed and cared for, as have 2 dogs and 2 cats but I still don’t get how one little (ha!) admin job has sucked so many hours out of my day. Am I just hopelessly inefficient or is this a ‘thing’?
