NHS jobs - how long from closing date to contact

I'm driving myself mad!!

Has anybody any experience of how long from the vacancy closing date to contact regarding interview etc with the NHS?

The role I applied for is the perfect fit for me & I matched 95% of the person spec. It's a small town so I don't think there will of been too many suitable applicants so I really do believe I stand a good chance of the next stage even if not appointed in the end.

The closing date was Friday but the NHS site says feedback available in 14 days, is likely to be when they'll make a decision on the interviewees??

I know I'm being a tad impatient but the waiting is driving me mad...... what's a rough timeframe for them in general??

Usually 2-3 weeks after closing. That's if no one is on annual leave or off sick.
Another 2-3 weeks after that until interview date.

Good luck!

depends how busy they are ..usually a week at least , we try to plan time to shortlist . Hopefully you'll hear by end of week.

I have two NHS positions in my team which closed a week ago and, due to annual leave etc, we won't finish shortlisting until wed (so 9 days after closing date). We then inform our admin team who send out invites to interview etc which might add another day on. Ideally I'd like to get the process finished within a week but shortlisting is a faff and sometimes it doesn't work that easily!
