I signed up for an app on Google Play at a discounted rate for the first month. It was advertised as a monthly tariff, with an anytime cancellation clause. All dandy. Happy with the App. The first payment was taken as planned. However, when they took the second 'monthly' payment, they actually took the whole year's subscription in one go, which I did not want or expect and I think is bloody sneaky.
They took the payment over a week ago. I have been trying to contact them, but it just sends you endlessly round the website. I suspect I'm probably stuffed, but I feel totally ripped off and would like to try and get at least some of my money back. Does anyone have any contact details for these people?
In the meantime, I have raised it as a dispute with Paypal. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
