How to spa

I’ve just joined a gym and the membership has spa access included. I’ve been to the spa before, it has a steam room, an aromatherapy room, sauna, cauldarium(?) and a bubbly jacuzzi pool. However I’m never sure what to do when I’m there. Is there a good order to do things in? Should one be used specifically after another? When do I hot shower and when do I cold shower?

Or am I overthinking the whole thing?

Totally over thinking it! Go with whatever you fancy on the day. Sounds amazing though!

Technically I think you’re meant to alternate hot and cold. However I generally sack the theory off in favour of an hour sat in the jacuzzi Grin

I think you're overthinking it and as the above, I usually just sit in the Jacuzzi!!!

But I think I heard that you're supposed to go in the sauna to open your pores and then go in the steam room and it cleans out your pores. Could be total bullshit

When you can't be arsed working out sit in the spa for a couple of hours and let everyone think you've been to the gym. That's what I do Grin

As long as you shower the chlorine off before you go in the sauna/steam room or shower the sweat off before you go in the pool/jacuzzi you won't get any funny looks

Thank you all, I can try and relax while trying to relax without worrying that I'm not doing it properly now!
