My bb is starting reception 1 on Teusday argh! So Scared

I'm a single mum and my first bb is staring school on teusday I'm so scared will he be okay will I be okay as I have lg who who will 2 in November will I cope I feel like a failure not yet having a job I'm 23 but every says I'm doing a great job including my health visitor and support worker any advise guys Smile

He will be fine try not to worry. Single mum with 2 young kids is a job!

You will be fine, although I remember those wobbles from when DS started school (and again when they start secondary school). He’ll be tired to start with, so allow for that- plan for early nights and cuddles on the sofa!

Take a healthy snack for pick up, and as P.P said they will be tired. Have you looked into nursery for hour two year old, you could see if you are entitled to FEET funding, which might give you a bit of time to get yourself job ready, prepare cv etc and start looking for a job.

Don't be scared. Keep talking to his teacher, ask about anything that you want to know more about. Reception teachers are (usually) very good at helping parents and children with the transition to school.

These are really handy tips guys thanks well my little girl won't be eligible until Jan for her two old placement but I'm kinda of stuck most places near me only take them when they are three and potty trained would a private one accept her application I wonder , yes hopefully going on a job skill course soon also going back to do my maths n English and sewing course Smile
