Yesterday we went out for the day, while we were sat having our picnic the family next to us were having theirs. I'm not sure I have the family dynamic worked out as some of their ages were hard to work out but it seemed to be 3/4 parents with one set of grandparents and 5/6 grandchildren. The grandad (who seemed young-he was so sprightly) was full of such joy that it made me smile to watch him. He was handing food out to everyone, playing with the children, but really engaging with them one on one in such a genuine and absorbed way with them without being in their faces. It was like he was completely on their level and just such a happy contented person that it made me so happy to watch. I know there's no real point to the post, but it made me think that maybe we all affect people positively by being happy, but without even realising it.
