Do you know anything that can get rid/minimise visual snow? Any vitamins that can help?

It's not very common.

Get your eyes checked asap. A relative of mine had floaters and it turned out to be a rare auto immune disease.

I assume you know of this website visualsnowsyndrome.com

It doesn't sound like vitamins etc work. Have you seen a doctor?

Eye test booked for this Friday. Should I ask her a referral to the eye hospital?

Yes, I would, if only to rule out other things.

Is it a very recent change? If so you need to see someone today as it could be a sign of a detached retina.

foodanddrink · 03/09/2018 08:34

It's started about two months ago.

I would ring the optician and explain and see if they want to see you earlier.
