Hi

Shortly after taking a dose of cold medicine I coughed so much I threw up (less than 5 min). I noticed that I had thrown up at least one of the capsules but I’m not sure about the other

Does anyone have any idea if I can take another capsule to let me drop off to sleep? Unfortunately I threw away the box and leaflet

They are Spar cold relief capsules and contain paracetamol, caffeine and phenylephrine. They are the only medicine that I have taken all day

Thanks

No. Because there is no way of knowing how much paracetamol you absorbed. Sorry x

I would, but probably shouldn't.

Depends on the strength of paracetamol in each capsule, 1g is the max individual dose, but you can take 4g in 24 hours. Some products only have 650mg per dose, soyou do need to read the small print.

I would, but probably shouldn't.

Same here. I'd be more careful about the dose over 24 hours but if the tablets send you to sleep then you probably won't be taking any for the next six or eight hours or so - hopefully.

Thanks both

I’ve managed to find the info online and it says 300mg per capsule. I think I will just take one more as that is 900mg altogether at most

I would for sure.
