I'm contemplating training to be a hairdresser. Currently utterly clueless so will obviously start at the very bottom. I'm more than willing to work hard and to do what it takes. I have no clue with hair and am useless with my own.
I have no 'va va voom' so to speak and in fact am quite geeky, overweight and awkward 
My local hairdressers are all style icons who look fabulous!
Is it possible to mearly learn the skill and be successful? Is that enough within the industry?
