Can you recommend a printer that actually works?

DS is off to secondary school and we need a printer/copier.

We gave up having a printer at home years ago as they never worked. So I'm a bit dubious about having to buy one now.

Does anyone have one that isn't shit? I would love to hear what to buy (or what not to buy) as we're heading to Curry's this afternoon.

Thank you

We have an HP envy which works really well. We've had it for a few years. Print over wi-fi, good colour printing, I think it does double sided too but never checked.

They normally have a few free months of instant ink on offer when you buy.

Put this code in and you'll get a free month on top of what you get when you buy the printer (as will I)

We also have a HP envy and highly recommend it. It’s on the top floor of our 3 storey house and never have issues sending stufff to print from the ground floor.

The ink thing is great too, we’re signed up to the free package because we don’t use the printer that often, but it works really well :)

HP Office Jet here, pretty good and not expensive.

We have a laser printer that outlasted several inkjets

I have a Kodak Verite, great printer, ink lasts ages.

Once the ink offer runs out, how much is it per month?

HeyMacWey · 02/09/2018 10:43

It depends on how many pages you print a month.
We're on the 100 pages a month and it's £3.50.
You can swap plans whenever you want.

Thank you all so much! It sounds like I'm looking at the HO Envy - thanks v much for the code heymacwhey - but will check out all other suggestions too.

Thanks you!
