Up early Sunday- what are you doing today?

Just about to jump into the shower, OH and I will go to the supermarket, then Ikea for breakfast at 9am, love the coffee there. Teen kids got in late last night and will sleep until lunchtime.

OH is cooking later, pulled pork or a beef roast- I have some work to do ( but I work from home and it is huge fun), otherwise a relaxing Sunday.

What are you all up to?

Pool day for us, last one before back to school. Have done a few chores and a couple of loads of washing, the Dcs are tidying up their things. Will have to do some work later on but that can wait for the sun to go down!

Off for a nice breckfast at a fancy place i spotted yesterday the dog is at the groomers and football on tv later. Tea wont be much and in between all of that i have a huge amount of tidying clothes away that just never got hung up properly and are now in a big pile.

Watching the Tour of Britain come through our town

I put the alarm on to get the DCs used to getting up for school. Of course they were up before it went off!
So far breakfast, medication, bit of a play with them that deteriorated but now they are watching Despicable Me 3 and at least 2 of us are going to church. Then I think park in the afternoon and probably a bit of a chill at home and get school clothes out!
I have some baking/food prep to do (have a date with some free apples from someone's garden!) and if the DCs will let me I'll do a bit of sewing too.
Orcinus* Now I need peanut butter fudge. And I'm supposed to be losing weight.

I'm still getting through loads of washing from our holiday last week, should get the last of it done today.
Then:
drop dd1 to work
Label ds school clothes
wash dd1 school bag
off to shops to upgrade mobile phone at last (battery is pants and it is dying!)
buy some ingredients for meal for my new instant pot arriving today!
Make soup in new instant pot when it arrives
dead head flowers in back garden
clean lounge
mop kitchen foor
get out my crochet from last year....it's an autumn thing!

oh, and most importantly go for a run with dd1 when she gets back from work!

anon ooooh. Good luck. that is the most exciting Sunday plans by far!

Thanks everyone, last minute house cleaning now in case she does make an appearance today. I doubt i'll be doing much cleaning once she's here!

Dh has gone to work. I have 3 dc at home all 5 and under but they have promised to be good today as I am early pg 6 weeks but have cramping and a bit of spotting this morning so trying to take it easy.... but they have said they will be good. So we will see.

I'm currently shortening long shirt-sleeves into short ones . They were the only ones in dd1's size on the shelf so I grabbed them & stupidly told her I'd shorten them if she wanted. So here I am.

Coffee break and then onto the next one.

Might bake some muffins later on too.
