Had my haircut yesterday and I hate it
I couldn't get an appointment with the last stylist I had so I picked an unknown. She didn't seem to really fit the 'look' of the salon (well known, has a brand of hair care products), but it didn't bother me at all. She didn't want to do exactly what I asked for (layers) as she said it wouldn't suit me, so I went along with it. She cut it a good couple of inches shorter than she said she would and I ended up with a bob to just below my ears. I thought it looked a bit odd because she'd blow dried it under, which was a bit too mature looking for me, but now I've had a go myself and it looks like I'm wearing a helmet.
There's just no living with this haircut. Once I'd admitted that to DH he agreed that it's not a good look. Should I ask my previous stylist to do it again for free? Is that acceptable? I'm not one to fuss but I can't afford to pay again for what I wanted in the first place, but maybe I should've just been more assertive and it's actually my fault?
