Bastering mosquitos

When will they just fuck off.
My poor ds seems to be a huge mosquito beacon right now. He has had bites one or two through the summer but he is covered in them right now he just got up to go for a wee and there is another fresh one on his arm.

I bath him nightly using the green pears soap which seemed to do the trick earlier on in the summer but they are immune to it now. I have just covered him in that so soft dry oil spray again though am not sure it's making much if a difference. I've got the fan on as this is supposed to confuse and repell the fuckers.

How.much longer does their season last I figured as it was getting a bit colder we would see the end of them but like I said it's so much worse right now. Our window is closed as is the door but there are gaps and I squashed two of them on my way to bed so I know they are getting in.

Would mosquito nets be too extreme do you think?
