Is there a cucumber shortage?

I've not seen a cucumber in any shops in my local area for about a week now!

Tesco online were out of stock a few days this week. Just checked and apparently they have one type of cucumber in stock so I’ve nabbed it....

My Morrisons had the dirty big naked cucumbers too. Quite a lot of them. Perhaps they congregate in prearranged locations, leaving other areas with a disappointing shortfall.

There was none in my local Morrisons last Saturday, and when I asked, they said there was a shortage.

They seemed to be all stocked back up on Friday
