I'm looking at new career options and have found a Bid Co-ordinator role for a major construction company. Reading around the subject, I'd say I'm fairly well qualified for the role and have significant related experience which could be of use. I also have plenty of transferable skills, and a few areas of knowledge gaps.
Is this an area anyone here works in? I have lots of questions about the work and what it's like! Whether in construction or another field.
Is it something which translates well outside of construction and into other industries?
Are you an employee or freelance?
How did you get into the role?
What is it like? Is there scope for progression?
