A week in fuertaventura at Easter
2 weeks in Cyprus in June
1 week in Norfolk in August

Too many big days out at farms etc to actually count tbh.

We're very lucky.

2 weeks in France curtesy of a lovely friend who lent us her house!

3 nights camping up the coast last week.

Maybe 3 nights camping at the end of this month (24th is a holiday here).

3 nights away somewhere for DS' birthday early December.

No big daytrips but we love the beach, wild swimming, trekking, mountain biking, picnics, castles/ruins, etc and we live near loads of them - and enjoyed more in France.

Next year hopefully we'll have 2 weeks in the UK last week of June/first weekof July, and then camping in the Basque Country August.

We’ve been very lucky holiday wise this year (this is NOT a typical year for us). 2 weeks in Florida in Feb, a mid-week centerparcs break in June, a week & a half visiting my family down south (including 4 days on the Isle of Wight) & we’ve got a 2 night cruise at the end of the month. Wrve had a few days out at the zoo because we have an annual membership.

I'd say that we're having a better than average year:

  • Grown up weekend with friends in Yorkshire
  • Noel Gallagher
  • Foo Fighters
  • Michael MacIntyre
  • Alton Towers x 2
  • 10 nights Fuerteventura
  • 4 nights Haven Devon
  • Long weekend Centerparcs

Gosh that's a lot when you write it all down, and we're in the middle of moving house too! We're certainly not 'well off' but work hard and are finally coming out of the hideous nursery/heavy childcare cost fees now both DC's are at school.

Bit of a bumper holiday year for us -

10 days in Sri Lanka in April
5 days in Wales in July
10 days in Florence, Tuscany and Rome in August
4 weeks in UK visiting family and friends as we’re expats - not exactly a holiday but still away from home!
5 nights in Cyprus in December planned

Had lots of days out this summer whilst back too - London, Harry Potter Studios, i360 in Brighton, lots of farm/county park type days.

Now on beans on toast for every meal until the end of the year...........

LesLavandes · 01/09/2018 12:59

5 days in Bologna area in April, a week in Aix en Provence in June and a week in Ibiza in August

blinkineckmum · 01/09/2018 13:00

Long weekend in Dorset (caravan)
2 x 4 nights in Cornwall seeing family
5 nights in France (Eurocamp)

Ofchris · 01/09/2018 13:00

We’ve had a good (untypical) year too. 2 weeks in Florida at Easter, 3 nights in Berlin (without the kids) in July and 2 nights in Wales last week. Few big nights out:
Ed Byrne
Morrissey
Mamma Mia
Wicked
And have yet to see:
Dara o’Briain
Hothouse Flowers
The Prodigy

ineedwine99 · 01/09/2018 13:11
