So browsing Facebook and this article comes up can't post a link so will post relevant pics and quotes. It's kinda hit home at the fact I'm in a loveless relationship and to scared to get out. I keep making excuses like his job wasn't going well or DD getting bullied at school ect ect.....

So here's the quote.

“At least I am not lonely” is the motto of people who don’t dare to stop unsuccessful relationships. All because they can’t see other perspectives and are sure that “a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.” Recent research has shown that a woman will likely apply for a divorce if she has a wide range of potential partners and financial stability.

The feeling of hopelessness and being sure of the fact that an old but bad partner is better than a potential Prince Charming leads to sad consequences because such couples live like neighbors under one roof.

The 1st pic is exactly what OH is doing right this minute. He hasn't seen the kids all day as I was out and didn't even take notice to them.
So yeah kind of a pity party atm

No words of wisdom but I'm sorry Flowers If you're not happy and you're admitting to yourself you're not happy then it sounds like you're ready to start thinking about your options.

I believe this has been how life has been for many as long as marriage has been invented. Just life. Some of us are lucky and some aren’t.

Thanks for your replies. I'm 25 so I have time on my side been with OH for 10 years and 2 DC. Think we have just drifted apart and I don't respect him any more because of his much of a dick he can be.

My advice get out whilst you can, I was the same age as you when I couldn't take any more I'm 8 years out of a relationship with dv, and it keeps getting worse no matter what you try and do to rectify it.
