Actifry vs air fryer

I bought an actifry years ago and it was brilliant but after a couple of years heavy use it broke.
I really want another but just can't afford it.
I've seen lots of air fryers that claim to be just as good and are a fraction of the cost but I don't know anyone that has one.
Someone please tell me they have an air fryer and love it?

I think my airfyer is marvellous.. not as big as an actifry but does what I assume it does the same ( never had an actifry )
Roasts potatoes, cooks chips , does all the frying stuff the other one does

Ah brilliant thanks vanilla, the main thing I want it for is for homemade chips. I can't stand oven chips.

I had an actifry for Christmas years ago it was brilliant.
I replaced it two years ago with a newer model and it's rubbish.
I'd be interested in finding a decent air fryer too as I think the quality has gone with tefal.

I heard that too and they are expensive so if there is a cheaper alternative like the air fryer that's really good I definitely want to try it.
I actually see the air fryers on offer very often but don't even think I've seen a decent discount on the actifryer.

Isn't the breville halo or Philips version meant to be good ?
