Do you feel fulfilled in your life? What helps?

I am in my early 30's and don't feel fulfilled.

I don't have any hobbies, I don't have anything that I love to do.

I feel like I'm going through the motions.

What do you enjoy and what makes life feel happy for you?

I'm on anti-ds, starting new job because the last one led me to a dark episode of depression and TTC for over a year so I would love some tips on what I can do to be happier.

I'm 42 & don't have dc or a husband so that makes me feel quite low at times (I can't have a baby on my own as I have schizo affective disorder & struggle to care for myself at times).
I need to start dating again but I'm too shy!

So you asked how to feel fulfilled?

When you feel depressed it's quite hard as life looks bleak even when it isn't.

Anyway I have my friends & close family who I socialise with. I have a part time job as a healthcare assistant in a hospital which is fulfilling because it's about helping others. (I can't work full time as I get too tired due to meds & also get paranoid).

When I'm on my own I try to go to the gym regularly. I do weights mainly & a bit of cardio. I challenge myself to improve each time I go. I make it into an outing by getting a coffee first.

My other hobbies include reading, fashion & make up, making up playlists of my favourite music, collecting antique photos & tracing the family tree.
I also have joined several groups on Facebook to do with photography, fossils, anti fascism & cats & have made new friends through them.

Finally I have a newish rescue cat who is extremely nervous & I'm teaching her how to play & relax. She's an indoor cat so she's always around.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

The only thing I really love to do is reading. I'd like to try therapeutic or creative writing. I enjoy cooking a bit, have to be in the mood. I'd love to 'grow my own' but don't have the time to commit to it just now. Allotment, book club, swimming? Hill walking maybe?

Exactly the same. Similar age too. I don’t know is the honest answer. I can’t seem to find that zest and love for life anymore. I have children and two have disabilities so life is quite wearing.
