Rare anatomical occurrences - I can see my DDs epiglottis

When looking at my 2yo throat (it was sore was checking her tonsils) I could see her epiglottis right there ! I looked it up and according to Google it's a "rare anatomical variant" and has no adverse effects.

Found that quite interesting! Does anyone have any rare or unusual features?

I have three lungs. One is very small, but there are three separate openings at the bottom of my windpipe.

My belly button is off centre which is apparently odd. I also have one eyeball which is a totally perfect sphere Grin

@Thistledew - My DS has a Pig Bronchus which is an extra opening off the trachea, it's very rare apparently. Smile

I had to google epiglottis because I wasn’t sure what it was, my toddler is the same she opened her mouth and we could see it a few months ago! My husband was like ‘aaahhhh, it’s like a frog!!!!’

I have double split chest, I ha e my sternum, a raised bit and then another dip. Diagnosed by an anaesthesiologist when he came to chat before some surgery.

Just means I’m a bit wonky.
