Please help me assign these colours to a season.

I'm so boring but please help me anyway.

I have 4 designs to stitch and need to match my fabric to the patterns.

But I don't have the 'right' colours only these 4, so which colour would you put with each season?

I was going to put the blue with summer (blue skies) but don't have a wintery colour so maybe should do blue for winter (icy)?

Summer red
Autumn purple (I think it's purple)
Winter blue

I'd have said summer green, spring lilac / purple, autumn red, blue winter

I'd do summer, blue; spring, green; autumn, red; winter, lilac.

Green spring
Blue winter
Red autumn
Pink summer

spring - pink for budding flowers
summer - green for green fields
autumn - purple
winter - blue for ice

Lilac winter as it looks icy. Spring green, new growth. Blue summer sky and autumn red for the leaves

Right, since you lot couldn't agree I've decided to complicate matters and add a new colour. Or maybe it'll make it easier?
