Hi,
I've had the coil since may this year fitted due to very heavy long periods, not needed for contraception due to DH having a vasectomy.
Other than the constant spotting and regular periods as Well all was going fine (I was told it would settle down)
I'm fed up with it, I'm on week 3 of my period and although lighter than what I had before the coil it's never ending.
The last couple of months I'm suffering with the most awful bout of acne not just face but neck, shoulders, chest and back so bad I was asked if I had chicken poxs yesterday! I have been lucky enough to never of have acne before so this is out the blue and I'm thinking it's the coil.
On top of that I also have insomnia, I'm only managing a couple of hours a sleep at night and I'm exhausted with 5 kids.
I have no libido that's gone right out the window, even if I did have it no chance as I'm constantly bleeding.
Has anyone else had this? I'm thinking of just having it taken out, at least before my period was done and dusted within 9 days and I get a break and no other symptoms.
Also experiences of having it taken out would be appreciated as having it fitted was not great.
