Food bank, donating out of season?

I often end up with out of season yet in date food. For example I have a couple of chocolate rabbits who don’t expire until 2019, meant for Easter but still chocolate and perfectly fine. I never know whether to donate or not?

I would donate. If you're hungry you're hungry and it doesn't matter what shape the chocolate is.

Personally I'm quite partial to a mince pie and wouldn't mind having one at an odd time of year!

Yes donate it OP, that’s very kind of you.

Thanks, I always thought if I had chocolate cravings I wouldn’t mind the shape but at the same time don’t want it to feel like only given stuff no one wants. Will pop it in the box and hope it helps someone’s cravings :) it’s nice thick choc even if in the shape of a bunny!

I always get a craving for Christmas pudding around June... it's not even that nice!
