so i'm watching Orphan Black on Netflix, in season 1 episode 3 they identify a motorbike by the tyres (also information about a bike being stolen, which is how they knew the colour etc)
but it got me thinking, i think we used to see that a lot on the TV, cars id'd by their tyres, but i have never put 'ford' tyres on my focus (or whatever, so am i imagining that they used to do that?)
