What strange food or food combinations do you like ?

At the moment I'm loving salad cream on new potatoes
I also like coco pops with hot water
Peas and bacon
Pineapple and apple slices in salad
Vinegar on dark cabbage

Mine are a bit tame ( I'm sure I like stranger things I just cannot think what at the moment )

I love tinned tuna mixed in with my hummus. Tried it once because I wanted to up my protein intake (I'm a runner) and think it's yummy!

Apple and peanut butter dip

Flavoured protein powder mixed with greek yoghurt makes a buttercream icing type texture. Sprinkle with granola and it's like cheesecake.

Not strange, but uncommon. I prefer no flavours added to my porriage. Just rolled oats and milk, warmed in microwave and that's it. Everyone else seems to want to make porriage flavoured or sweet or with fruit or whatever - that would totally spoil the oats imo.

Pasta and gravy

Baked beans and coleslaw, especially on a jacket potato.

My DH is trying to persuade me that guacamole and peanut butter is a good combination- the colour, eurgh .

We’ve just had leftover mac cheese layered with veg chilli (also leftovers), nachos & cheese...delicious!

Salad cream on egg fried rice.
Dairylea with cheese and onion crisps.

My husband thinks this is weird but I grew up eating this and everyone in my family does so I guess you decide... Cooked spinach with balsamic and soy mixed into the cooking liquid kinda like a soup. Sometimes I chop some hard boiled egg in. Yum!!!

Let me introduce you to mine; the most unsophisticated yet delicious 'canapé':

vodka and sliced red leicester cheese with dairy lea triangles, and peanuts.

Chips dipped in custard!
Also like peas and bacon but didn't realise it's an odd one!

Heinz tomato soup with chips in it

Crisps dipped into Greek yoghurt and apples with peanut butter!! Also guilty of dipping McDonalds chips into my strawberry milkshake.

My favourite sandwich is tuna mayonnaise and banana (banana cut in half and then sliced length-ways, not in rounds).

Bread, butter, marmite and banana 🍌

Egg mayonnaise and marmite sandwich. Really good together

Toast, marmalade & cheese.

Banana and cheddar cheese sandwich or toastie.

Those Danish caramel wafer things topped with thick slices of cheddar cheese.

Craved it when pregnant and still love it

Various chunky Heinz soups jazzed up with curry powder and poured on homemade chips

Pancakes and thick beef gravy. No, I don't want lemon juice, sugar or any other sweet crap. Give me GRAVY! and stop looking at me like that. It's basically just an un-risen giant flat yorkie pud!

I like to eat marmite out of the jar by the spoonful, swiftly followed by a spoonful of crunchy peanut butter

Toast with ketchup. I have this for breakfast most mornings.

Last thing at night, I eat lettuce, cucumber and chopped yellow pepper smothered in sweet chilli sauce and black pepper.
