Heart attacks and cardio rehab

My father had a very big heart attack a couple of weeks ago but thankfully he seems to be recovering well. He was told
He would start cardio rehab at the local hospital about 6 weeks after his heart attack. He has just received a letter to say there is currently no space for him but they will get back in contact in the future. Does anyone know if there is a private cardio rehab route we can go down or how else he can receive the treatment he needs? Or who apart from the Nhs would offer this service?

Just reposting to see if anyone had any ideas. Thank you.

Sorry, no idea but my Dad has been going to his NHS one for 20 years now since his heart attack. Spaces do become available so don’t give up hope.

You could ring the British heart foundation to ask if they run anything in his area?
