Could one night make this much difference?

Not as exciting as the title appears, sorry.

I have had a bad back for months, every morning, so last night we slept in the guest room and today, no bad back.

Could one night on a different mattress make such a difference or is it a coincidence as I don’t want to swap mattresses over if it will be a waste of time and really, deep down I want my DP to buy me us a Tempur mattress. I may lie and tell him my back still hurts, would that be bad?!!!

Could you not swap the mattresses?

When I was pregnant with DC1 I had the usual pregnancy backache. But by the time I was 7 months pregnantes it was really getting to me. I left work and packed up all the contents of my desk into a backpack. It wasn't a big backpack but it was a bit heavy. I had a 30 minute walk to the station and thought "eek! This will kill or cure." But that one walk with a heavy (ish) backpack sorted it completely and I never even had a twinge for the rest of the pregnancy. It must have pulled my back straight and released something.

Ballonslayer I could but they are really heavy and I can't be arsed if the truth be known, but I will if it makes my back better I suppose.

Try sleeping for a few more nights in the guest room and you'll see. If that matress is better get DH to swap them over. If no better go get your new matress.

Just sleep in the guest room a few more nights, then try your old bed again.
