There is a very thoughtful taxi driver in Nottingham.

This is one of those pointless threads but I just want to get it out.

DS1 lost his wallet over the weekend in a cab, went back to the taxi rank to see if it had been handed in but no luck.Usual stuff in the wallet; bank cards ,driving licence, rail card, NI number etc and some personal stuff from his girlfriend. He was pissed off, cancelled the cards etc.

Today someone has posted it back to our house from Nottingham complete with the small amount of money in it.

I know it's highly unlikely to know who the person was but in the event of anyone knowing a taxi driver in Nottingham who posted it back, ds is so very thankful.

How lovely is that! Hope the cab driver gets the message somehow. You know in the Metro (free daily distributed in many cities) there's a "thanks for good deeds " on the letters page?
