Underactive Thyroid - Hot Flushes - Are they linked?

Hi all,

Just thought I'd post on here with something that has had me wondering for some time.

I have an underative thyoid. Diagnosed in 2015 (4 months or so post partum) and is sufficiently treated and supressed for me to feel well. (Last TSH check was 0.36)

I seem to be very sensitive to temperatures. Not just taking extreme cold or heat. It can be say 21 or so in the house and I get hot flushes. Pour with sweat, feel clammy and need to throw the windows open for fresh air.

Is this a UAT thing? I've had it as long as I've had an UAT and remember the sweats and flushes being a symptom pre-diagnosis.

Yes, I've got underactive thyroid and can be pouring with sweat in a thin shirt in the middle of winter. Hot flushes in the night as well and I sleep with the windows open all year round.
