Moving to secondary school

My 12 year old daughter has just moved to secondary school two weeks ago but is struggling to make friends

I'm a secondary school teacher and hear this a lot from parents. Don't panic it's very early days. In the first month all year 7 students are like rabbits in headlights. Then they start to form friendships and by Christmas it's like they have been all together for years. She will be fine, try to stay positive. Perhaps recommend she goes to a extra curriculum club to help meet new people xx
