Sea Kings and Asbestos Risk

My husband was in the RAF and was an engineer who worked on all the Sea Kings that have been in service. Then the news broke about the risk of asbestos exposure. He would have been exposed for 3 years but we have no further information. He's going to the gp to have a few tests. But he's had increasing lung issues during the past few years and is now on various inhalers. We're obviously very worried.

Has anyone got any advice?

I’d say a call to the Veteran’s Agency quoting Seaking Asbestos Exposure. A record of exposure needs to be made on MOD Form 960.
