We are seeing The King and I tomorrow evening and want to find something fun to do in London beforehand.

Dds are 17, 15 and 11. Theatre is London Palladium but doesn't have to be in that area, we're happy getting the tube.

Climb the O2? Afternoon tea at a hotel/bakery bus? Wander round Camden Market (teen mecca) and Primrose Hill?

Or - if you have girls - most teen girls I know would happily spend many hours in Topshop on Oxford Circus...

There is lots .

Escape Rooms (no idea if you have to pre book though, I expect you do)
Southbank is always fun and I think there is a fair of sorts there right now , along with a high zip wire
If they like spooky things and the dark side of London, London Dungeon is now also at the South Bank, as is the London Aquarium .,

What do they like OP ?

They love shopping but have done loads this summer and prefer to shop with friends now.

We've done a few escape rooms, fun but very expensive. Looking for something a bit cheaper.

Southbank may be an idea....

the zip wire is zipnow - my 9 and 12 year old did it and loved it - over by Lambeth North. Worth googling to see if you can find discounts. Think its only on till the end of the holidays.

London Bridge Experience and Tombs also an option - may be abit scary for your 11 year old though

Graffiti tours (can do a DIY one) over in Brick Lane or Leake Street by Waterloo

If they like fashion, check the V&A or the fashion designer exhibition on at the design museum (think that's paid though)

Dancergirl how about getting the cable car across the Thames. More reasonable than you think - we pre ordered tix but you can catch it anytime and it runs every 30 seconds. Or head over to the Olympic Games site - lots of cool weird sculptures and an amazing slide that's the tallest in the world.
