I'll be working as a substitute teacher so going to different schools at short notice.

What can I bring for lunch?
I'm trying to avoid bread so no sambos (though having gone through options in my head I think sandwiches are probably what I'm going to bring)

What I've thought of
Soup (in a thermos) but what if it's a hot day?
Salad. Faff to prepare in the morning. Takes me bloody ages to eat and lunch in schools is short - 30 mins minus 5 for the loo minus 5 for getting to staff room after children straggle slowly out to yard
Oatcakes and..... Not egg or tuna, I don't want to be the person who brings a stinky lunch

I'm out of ideas.... Help me please!!!

CHeese and crackers
Bread sticks and hummus
Cold fritata make a large one lasts for about three days in the fridge ( I know it’s early go but doesn’t smell the way egg sandwiches do!)
Falafel

Here are some of my work lunches:
A packet of the one-portion Tilda pulses range. E.g. www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/293226810 They're equally as nice cold or hot.
One of the one-portion crustless quiches e.g. www.tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/281640912 I heat it up if I feel like it, but more often than not I eat it cold with some green salad that I keep in a bag in the fridge at work.
Sometimes I take a jacket potato that I cooked the previous night and just reheat it in the microwave. I have it with with one of the small one-portions of tinned tuna in tomato sauce. My DH also takes a jacket potato and has it with a snap pot of Heinz beans because he doesn't like fish.

Corn tortilla wrap with houmous and red pepper.
Rice cakes/oatcakes spread with cream cheese. You can get those little snack pots of Philadelphia.
Cold pizza
Sausage rolls
