Advice please: how to raise bullying issue with the school?

Over the summer holidays it's come to light that DiddyDragon (almost 10) is being bullied by another one of the girls in her class.

She's asked me to speak to her new class teacher about it.

I had suspicions for a while that something wasn't quite right, but nothing I could put my finger on. Now I feel awful that I didn't see it and take action sooner.

All that aside, how do I go about this?

Do I email the school now & ask for the message to be passed on to her new class teacher?
Do I go to the office on the first morning of term?
Do I try to speak to her teacher on the phone?

I want to start the new school year right for DD, but I'm also really aware of how busy the staff are on the first day of term.

Any advice, particularly from any primary teachers out there?

TIA

I would email her if you have her address and setup a time to speak about it, either face to face or on the phone.

I’d arrange a face to face meeting with the teacher.

Thanks.

I'm on the school website now trying to find a contact email address.
