Help me with a dress for a wedding

I'm 26, pear shaped and going to a wedding in October, I'd like to wear a dress but I have no fashion sense, any help would be appreciated

What size? I'm pear shaped and find skater style suit me best, where the top is fitted and the skirt flares out.

I too am pear shaped! I'm size 6-8 on top and size 10-12 on the bottom!

I don't wear dresses usually, because the top/bottom size difference means that I have to get them 2 sizes too big on the top in order to fit the bottom, then make alterations to the tops, such as adding darts.

However, this summer I actually managed to find a dress that I could wear to a wedding without needing to alter it!

It's by Jolie Moi and has a wraparound top, which enabled me to disguise the fact that the top is too big.

This dress has the same design as the one I wore. It's a popular style with Jolie Moi so you might find others that suit your tastes.
